As a parent, I’m always looking for ways to teach my children right from wrong. When they are very little it’s difficult to explain why lying is naughty. Joe Biden is a good example.

As the Wall Street Journal pointed out “As with his admission that a President Obama would quickly be tested by our enemies, the Delaware rambler was stumbling into the truth” with regard to his little slip that $150,000 is the “rich” threshold.

When one starts telling lies, it becomes difficult or impossible for all but the most skilled liars to keep track of what is fact and what is fiction. Which is why Senator Biden’s been sent into hiding. They simply can’t afford to have him out there revealing the truth to the American people.

This is a good teaching moment for the kids. When they tell the truth they have nothing to hide and can answer any question. If the truth fears no questions why go into hiding?

It seems a lot of Americans prefer politicians who lie to them, regularly. Who wants to hear that Social Security and Medicare will be bankrupt in a few short years? Who wants to know that there’s not much a government can do to help the economy, other than get out of the way? That’s no fun.

Since the beginning of time, politicians have fudged the truth in order to gain favor with the masses. It doesn’t matter which party they belong to, they all do it in one way or the other. Although they hail from thousands of miles apart and their paths have taken considerably different turns, Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher and Sarah Palin have much in common.

They are both middle class, hard working Americans. Sarah Palin decided to join the PTA to make a difference in her children’s education. As they say, from there it was history. Even Bill Clinton can’t sing along with the “failed policies of deregulation” chorus. I hope the American people wake up and realize who and what they are voting for next month. You  call’n me a lire? Bill Clinton sheds light on Obama’s lies.

There’s nothing more annyoing than a person who is asking you for something, in the case of Joe Biden-my vote, while blatantly lying. I wasn’t counting, but during the debate last night I kept saying “He’s lying!”

Don’t you hate those people who call you a liar to your face when you know they are the ones doing the fabricating? Think of the way you feel when other people actually believe their lies!
