Freed Taliban Leader Vows To ‘Fight Americans Again’

One of the five Taliban leaders freed in exchange for Bowe Berghdal is looking forward to fighting Americans again. What a shock. All five of them are free to move about Qatar without restriction, so what’s to stop them from heading back to Afghanistan? Then again, if he holds out for just a little while he can start after Obama brings our troop level down to fewer than 10,000.

One of the five Taliban leaders freed from Guantanamo Bay in return for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s release has pledged to return to fight Americans in Afghanistan, according to a fellow militant and a relative.

“After arriving in Qatar, Noorullah Noori kept insisting he would go to Afghanistan and fight American forces there,” a Taliban commander told NBC News via telephone from Afghanistan.

Noori pushed to return to Afghanistan after learning that the U.S. had provided written assurances that no country would arrest any of the five freed for a year as long as they lived peacefully, one of his relatives told NBC News by telephone from Afghanistan.

See Hot Air for a little bit of info on Noori’s past, and speculation that the US will be keeping a close eye on all five of the freed terrorists to avoid any negative press before the 2016 election. It’s kind of sick to think that they wouldn’t be keeping a close eye on them for no other purpose than to save American lives.

Speaking of sick, an administration official had to apologize after wondering on Twitter if Bowe Bergdahl’s platoon was full of psychopaths. I think the Obama administration is full of psychopaths. Good grief.
