If you think Democrats are bad now, just wait until after Democracy Alliance, a secretive cabal of mega-donors, gets its way. They are meeting later this month to come up with strategies to push the party and the country to the extreme left. In attendance will be billionaires like George Soros and Tom Steyer, as well as politicians, union bosses and OFA officials. (Oh, but the Democrats are just so against money in politics, right?)
But it won’t be all business. They’ll take a break from plotting to further the destruction of our country for a little socializing and comedy.
It’s not all serious business, though. Social events include a wine party featuring selections from wineries owned by DA donors, a private curator-led tour of the Art Institute of Chicago and a performance by “The Daily Show” co-creator Lizz Winstead, who the agenda says will deploy her “comedic genius” to take a “light-hearted look at the conservative Right and the decay of the Fourth Estate.”
Boy, that sounds like a real blast.
Read the whole thing. It’s a real who’s who of rotten progressives, including Kentucky Senate candidate Allison Lundergan Grimes. I wonder what the voters of Kentucky will think of her association with this radical group.
