San Francisco Government Doesn’t Count Child Pornography As ‘Moral Turpitude’



Larry Brinkin is a “veteran gay rights advocate” who pleaded guilty to being in the possession of violent child pornography. He was only sentenced to six months in prison and he has to register as a sex offender. But he’s still going to get his pension from the city of San Francisco where he was employed as the chairman of the Human Rights Division. (I guess he doesn’t think rights extend to small children.)

But the scandal didn’t end there. A recent law defining which type of actions count as “moral turpitude” required to nullify municipal pension benefits does not include sex crimes involving children, and only refers to financial crimes
