You would think that American news networks would have more important things to report than global warming. But then, these are American news networks, and they’re doing their best to fan the flames of global warming hysteria.

The UN’s climate panel (IPCC) released its latest warning about “catastrophic” climate change on Sept. 27, garnering the frantic attention of all three broadcast networks that night. CBS even aired a claim about temperatures rising “more than 200 degrees.”buy valium without prescription
Predictably, the evening news shows on ABC, CBS and NBC Sept. 27 repeated the IPCC’s dire warnings without including any skeptics and without mentioning past failures such as their inability to accurately predict warming or sea level rise.buy tramadol no prescription
ABC’s “World News with Diane Sawyer,” NBC “Nightly News” and CBS “Evening News” all failed to include criticism of the IPCC with the exception of a swipe against “skeptics” on ABC. NBC continued to link weather events like Hurricane Sandy to climate change while CBS aired a statistic that one scientist called “meaningless.”
Please read the whole thing, as it gets much worse. CBS News even warned of temperatures going up by 200 degrees! Is it any wonder there are now people with global warming derangement syndrome? In case you missed it, the other day a meteorologist had a meltdown, which was kind of funny, but kind of sad at the same time. He cried that he won’t have kids or ever fly again, well, after his one last flight.

The global warming alarmists have created a climate of madness. Their incessant warnings of worldwide disaster and unspeakable human suffering due to man-made warming have sent some people into a frenzy.klonopin online no prescription
Almost five years ago we wrote on these pages about climate change delusion. The first case diagnosed was in a 17-year-old Australian who refused to drink water because he thought it would cause millions to die from the drought-effects of global warming. He was eventually hospitalized in a psychiatric unit, having been depressed for months before being committed.
At that time, we also mentioned that the psychiatrist in charge of that unit told the Boston Globe that he “has now seen several more patients with psychosis or anxiety disorders focused on climate change.”
There were also stories of children “having nightmares about global-warming-related natural disasters” booking appointments with doctors.
We reported, as well, about the American Psychological Association’s effort to condition the public to believe that humans are causing an environmental crisis, an objective it was confident it could achieve because it knows “how to change behavior and attitudes.”
Is Holthaus a victim of an attempt to whip up hysteria over global warming? Or is he part of the campaign? (Read More)
I think he’s both, as are the people at America’s news networks. And who benefits from all of this hysteria – progressive politicians and bureaucrats who want even more control over our economy and our lives.
On the bright side, at least now that there’s an official government slimdown they can shift their reporting back to those mean old Republicans that they so despise.
