Asiana Airlines Flight Crashed On Landing In San Francisco

Update: According to KTVU at least two died in the crash and dozens more were injured, many of those injured were children. There were 291 on board.

An Asiana Airlines flight from Seoul, South Korea crash landed at the airport in San Francisco after the tail came off during landing. The number of passengers on the Boeing 777 and any casualties is unknown at this time. Via The Seaton Post, passengers can be seen evacuating the plane on the inflatable emergency slides as smoke poured from the plane. At this point the fire appears to be out and no more passengers are being evacuated.

Here’s a second video showing even more thick, black smoke coming out of the plane, before the fire was extinguished.

According to The Washington Post, the plane can carry between 246 and 300 passengers. Let’s hope all of the passengers and crew made it out.
