Alan Grayson is back in Congress and back in the news. He accused the Republicans of waging “legislative terrorism” for using the debt ceiling as a way to cut some federal spending. Of course, he was on MSNBC with Al Sharpton, so he wasn’t challenged.
Well, they say it’s a device for them to extract concessions that they have otherwise be able to accomplish, that’s why it’s legislative terrorism. They’re using the debt ceiling as a means to cut Social Security benefits, cut Medicare benefits, cut unemployment insurance, cut anything of any use to any ordinary human being in this country simply because they want more money for tax cuts for the rich.
I still can’t believe this lunatic was sent back to Congress. I’d love to see him challenged by someone like Rick Santelli, who knows a lunatic when he sees one.
