Things My Son Learns in School, Part III


Yesterday my fifth-grader came home and told us what his teacher had to say about retirement. Mr. LC and I both laughed out loud when we heard it. She told him and a few other students (thank goodness this wasn’t part of a lesson plan):

Most people retire when they’re fifty five.

She must not know many people who work in the private sector.

Oh, and no, my kids don’t go to the progressive Blue School.
