Is Obama Preparing for War or Political Upheaval?buy tramadol no prescription
Friday’s announcement that President Obama had updated the Emergency Preparedness (EP) Executive Order (EO) has raised a huge level of concern among conservatives. While this EO cannot be evaluated simply on its face value, it still must be scrutinized within the context of the Obama administration’s rhetoric. Within the current calendar year, there have been a number of specific incidents that, when compared to the latest White House announcement, are alarming.buy phentermine online no prescription
The primary question arising from the president’s actions should cause citizens to ask, is this EO intended to strengthen our national defense posture or a political maneuver to empower the president if his political status is threatened?buy klonopin online
Starting in January, President Obama bypassed congress and made a several disputed recess appointments even though as senator, Obama argued that such appointments would be unethical. By making these suspect appointments, he revealed a commitment to bypassing congress which is a by-pass of constitutional separation of powers rules and a commitment to grow the federal government at unsustainable rates.valium for sale
Then, the president promised in the 2012 State of the Union Address, that he would fundamentally change America. In the past three years, he has apparently not made the impact of “hope and change” that he used as a campaign promise in 2008. This is despite the fact that the Democrats held a super-majority status in 2009 & 2010.klonopin online no prescription
Additionally, there are three more disturbing events, the NDAA, the H. R. 347, and the revised Emergency Preparedness, EO, last Friday. The NDAA raised the prospects that the president can order the military to arrest and detain American citizens on US soil and to be held without due process. However, the president reportedly has vetoed that portion of the law. See: “Protesting a felony?” (Daily Gator, HR 347)
“How I missed this, I don’t know. What I do know is that since the turn of the year our President has violated the constitution three times. First back in January when he bypassed congress and made four appointments to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the National Labor Relations Board while congress was still in proforma session. We did not hear a peep from the left and those illegal appointments still stand. The second violation came when he signed into law the NDAA which has a provision in it that authorizes the government to detain American citizens indefinitely if suspected of ties to terrorist organizations.”
Additionally, one of Obama’s chief financial supporters spoke of immanent violence in the streets of America. See: “Is George Soros the Grand Wizard of Coming US Revolution? Is this a credible threat that must be considered by the president? Is he referring to the Occupy movement?
Since LC reported on the Obama EO on Friday, numerous citizens have voiced concerns over the legitimacy or purpose of this order. Ed Morrissey, has indicated that this appears to be the implementation of generic changes that merely update previous executive orders. “National Defense Resources Preparedness” executive order: Power grab or mere update?” ( Hotair.com).

However, several other sources have raised legitimate concerns. See: “OBAMA PREPARES FOR “NATIONAL EMERGENCY”: NATIONALIZE EVERYTHING (EVEN YOU) W/O CONGRESSIONAL OVERSIGHT” (Pamela Geller, Atlas Shrugs)
“It calls for a draft, but not just a draft. A civilian draft, of “persons of outstanding experience or ability” without compensation. If they think they need you, they can compel you to work for the government for nothing.
They can, under this order, restrict civilian travel by any mode, including (probably) foot travel. They can ration food. They can restrict water usage, even from private wells. They can ration any and all drugs, including OTC and vitamins. They can collectivize farms. They can take over all energy production, including home solar units.
It also allows for drafting civilians. If they have need of your skills, they can compel you to work for no compensation.
All this not in a time of war, but in time of “National Emergency” (several EO national emergency states already in place) or even in Peacetime.
And he hasn’t even won re-election ……. yet. One can only imagine what the saboteur has in store for us.”

“Protein Wisdom says this could be nothing unusual, but, wonders about the president giving the Executive branch these powers during peacetime. Could this EO be just a routine update, or something else? It’s hard to tell, and I’d like to give Obama the benefit of the doubt: I’d hate to think that he would be that stupid, and power hungry, to implement a massive takeover of private industry (hint: oil and energy sources) during domestic peacetime in this manner. He seems to prefer other ways, like Obamacare.
There are lots of questions to be asked. Israpundit has a few, and check out the comment. Atlas Shrugs points out that it calls for a uncompensated civilian draft. I Own The World says you should read it slowly. Good advice. I read it quickly, but, I am going back through it word by word.
The big question is “does this really mean something, is it simply updated rules, or, is this an attempt to create yet another issue to deflect from Obama’s pitiful record?” Time will tell.

The latest Obama executive order does raise the question of personal motive. Is it for national defense or personal preservation? The answer to this question may be apparent by the RNC convention in August.
