Senator James Inhofe’s Video Message to UN Climate Conference

Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) sent a video message to the UN climate conference in Durban, South Africa. He noted how President Obama, Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats swooped into the last climate conference with all sorts of promises for climate change policies in the US that would have constituted the largest tax increase in the history of this country. Inhofe is happy to bring the “good news of the complete collapse of the global warming movement and the failure of the Kyoto process.”

“Tossing out any remote possibility of a UN global warming treating is one of the most important things we can do for the economy… I’m confident that the only person left talking about global warming is me. [chuckle] The message from Washington to the UN delegates in South Africa is this… You are being ignored. You are being by your biggest allies in the United States – that’s President Obama and the Democratic leadership in the Senate.”

Tulsa World and Junk Science have more. I tried to find a transcript of the entire video, but came up empty, but at least you can watch and listen:

Also, be sure to check out the latest dispatch from the conference at Reason. What a farce!
