To repeal the job-killing health care law…

Those words are actually in the repeal bill posted online.

To repeal the job-killing health care law and health care-

related provisions in the Health Care and Education

Reconciliation Act of 2010.

1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

4 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Repealing the Job-

5 Killing Health Care Law Act’’.

It’s only two pages.

I was listening to Mark Levin for a few minutes tonight and he made an excellent point. Be prepared to hear Democrats and pundits talk about how irresponsible it is for the Republicans to even attempt to repeal Obamacare. You’ll hear that they have better things to do, like focus on the economy and the national debt (both of which are made worse by this legislation.) What you won’t hear about is how the Democrats rammed this stinking rotten legislation through against the will of a majority of Americans. Oh yeah, and they did it while the economy was in the toilet and the national debt was spiraling out of control. They want you to forget that part.

This reminds me of a question a reporter asked Ann Marie Buerkle at the press conference she held when she won the race in NY25. He reminded her that she won by a fairly slim margin, and asked how she would represent all of the constituents in the district, and not just those that voted for her. She replied that she would not abandon her principles. The bigger question is, why don’t reporters ever ask that same question of liberal Democrats? Why didn’t they object when Dan Maffei and his fellow Democrats rammed this bill down our throats when they knew most of us didn’t want it?

The moral of the story is never let the media or the Democrats set the narrative or you’ll lose every time.
