Wow! There’s all kinds of exciting news coming out of New York. Republican Randy Altschuler has taken the lead over incumbent Democrat Tim Bishop in NY1!
Bishop appeared to be the winner on Tuesday night and was projected as such by the Associated Press, with a lead of 3,400 votes and about 9,000 outstanding absentee ballots to be counted.
Rob Ryan, a spokesman for the Altschuler campaign, said Friday that the Republican candidate now has a 392 vote advantage. But it will likely take at least a week more to count the absentee ballots. (The tightening of the vote count was first reported by Politico.)
Wow! Whoda thunk it?
Wednesday we found out that Ann Marie Buerkle surged ahead of Democrat Dan Maffei, and her lead increased today. Now this! What a great week!
Be sure to help out these two candidates. Just look what happened in Connecticut.
