Video: Karl Rove Explains Obama’s Lame Spending Freeze Proposal
ByIn follow up to last night’s post about Obama’s lame spending freeze, here’s video of Karl Rove putting this in context.
Since Obama took office he’s increased discretionary spending by 24%, so Obama’s proposing to freeze spending at that higher rate. Also, the unspent stimulus money isn’t included, the proposed second stimulus isn’t included, nor is the return on TARP funds. This is nothing more than a gimmick designed to trick the people into believing Obama’s doing something about the national debt. Don’t believe it.
