Barbara Boxer: You call it climategate, we call it emailtheftgate
ByNow, if emails from a corporation were hacked and exposed massive fraud and the involvement of billions of taxpayer dollars, Senator Boxer would have hailed the “whistleblower.” Now that the democrats’ chance to put the final nail in the coffin of the US economy is threatened, all of a sudden they have have something against whistleblowers.
You call it ‘Climategate’; I call it ‘E-mail-theft-gate.’ Whatever it is, the main issue is, are we facing global warming or are we not? I’m sure you agree, that’s the basic question for us. I’m looking at these e-mails, that, even though they were stolen, they are now out in the public, and we are looking through these emails. We are also calling the leading scientists of the world. We may well have a hearing on this, we may not. We may have a briefing for senators, we may not, we’re looking at this. This is a crime … Part of our looking at this will be looking at a criminal activity which could have well been coordinated.
No, Senator Boxer (better not call her maam), we are not facing global warming. If anything the earth’s getting cooler!
