Surprise! Businesses are hiring fewer workers because of the Porkulus expansion of unemployment benefits.

Are you wondering how the housing meltdown happened? Thomas Sowell explains it. (Long but worth a read if you are unfamiliar with the Community Reinvestment Act.)

Speaking of a housing meltdown, get ready for Housing Bust Part Deux. (Via Free Republic)

That’s all for now. To be honest, I’m really sick of the people in Washington and Albany, and I’m sure you are, too. I’m going to go finish my James Patterson novel about depraved lunatic murderers. They just seem so much more reasonable than politicians, especially the ones with the letter “D” after their names.

  1. I saw Sherrod Brown today and I absolutely could not stand listening to him. It’s getting to the point when I hear one of those leftist Democrats in D.C. I want to puke! There is no rhyme or reason for what they’re doing to our country.

Like you, I’m going to finish reading my book “The Politically Incorrect Guide to the Constitution” and start on “John Adams” so I can regain my sanity!

  2. John Adams is a great book!

  3. michigan says:

Over 15% unemployment, State revenues plummeting even after imposing the highest state tax increase in history two years ago, the inability to rent a U-Haul truck because they have all been rented out one way(no kidding), so what’s the answer in Michigan? The Democrat Governor Grandholm and her minions calling for even higher taxes.
OBTW A.C.V., Sherrod Brown is next to worthless, he’s done nothing but lip service for the district he represents in Ohio, Wilmington in particular, thousands losing their jobs and he was totally ineffective, and his wife, a lefty columnist for a Cleveland newspaper, what a pair.
