Hello! Democrats! Americans don’t want your stinking health care reform!
Posted by: | CommentsThe one thing that’s the most infuriating about what the democrats are doing to us on health care – a clear majority of Americans are opposed to it.
More Americans continue to oppose the health care reform legislation than support it, according to a Fox News poll released Friday. In addition, half favor banning the use of federal funds for abortions.
By 51 percent to 35 percent, the public opposes the reform legislation being considered right now by Congress. Last month, a majority opposed the health care legislation by a similar 54-35 percent (October 13-14, 2009).
While a majority of Democrats favor the reforms (65 percent), some 17 percent are opposed and another 18 percent are unsure. Most Republicans (82 percent) and a majority of independents (61 percent) oppose the legislation.
Furthermore, only 1 in 6, or a paltry 16%, believe they’ll be better off if this passes. But the democrats are going to ram it through anyway.
How disgusting!

Marth Stewart: Sarah Palin is very dangerous
Posted by: | CommentsThis is good. First Martha Stewart called Sarah Palin boring, dangerous and confused. In the next breath she said she wouldn’t watch her if she was paid to do it. So if she doesn’t watch her, how could she possibly know if Palin’s boring, dangerous and confused?
It gets better. The folks from ShowBiz Tonight actually defended Sarah Palin. “Who’s been to prison?” “Who’s more dangerous right now?” What a hoot!

The Trillion Dollar Question – Can Republicans Block the Health Care Bill?
Posted by: | CommentsBy now you probably know Harry Reid got the votes he needed for his health care bill to move forward. The trillion dollar question now is, can the Republicans possibly block the bill from making it out of the Senate?
Politico reported:
And then there are the Republicans, who vowed Saturday to try to block health reform from ever leaving the Senate.
Democrats are expecting multiple Republican amendments on hot-button issues such as medical malpractice, immigration and abortion. The challenge for Reid is finding a way to shield his members from taking politically difficult votes and to prevent the passage of a GOP amendment that could sink the entire deal.
Reid has promised a “free-wheeling, wide-open amendment process,” said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who added that Republicans are likely to attempt to filibuster each amendment, meaning Reid would have hold together his 60 votes time and again.
”The battle has just begun,” McConnell added. “The American people are asking us to stop this bill, and we are going to do anything and everything we can to prevent this measure from becoming law.”
Funny the way they do things – big vote on a Saturday night, done in a hurry and now they’re all heading home for Thanksgiving. So what was the rush? With any luck the Republican senators will have time to prepare for battle. I just don’t know if it’s too late. Reid said he’d use the nuclear option if necessary, and I don’t see anything stopping Reid, Pelosi and Obama from passing legislation a majority of Americans are opposed to.

Glenn Beck’s Plan
Posted by: | CommentsGlenn Beck promised to announce his plan for America today in Florida.
Here’s the letter he released today.
Today, I have stopped looking for a leader to show us the way out because I have come to realize that the only one who can truly save our country…is us. To change America’s course we need to change ourselves, our expectations and our willingness to accept the unacceptable. When we refuse to allow our children to receive a trophy for participation, we are on the road to restoring the meaning of merit in our Republic. When we insist that no one is too big to fail, we will be able to learn from our mistakes, and when we demand that we are self-reliant, we will ensure that others can rely on us, not the government.
There is much to do, much to learn and time is of the essence. While I will be explaining the entire Plan over the coming weeks and months, I did want to give you a preview of some of the highlights:
- Education is key, and not just for our children. To that end, we will be conducting a series of conventions. These will be full-day experiences where you will be immersed in learning about topics ranging from self-reliance, community organizing, the economy and how to be a political force in your own neighborhood and country. The first one will be in Orlando at UCF Arena on March 27th. You will also be able to vote to have a convention in your region by clicking here.
- I have begun meeting with some of the best minds in the country that believe in limited government, maximum freedom and the values of our Founders. I am developing a 100 year plan. I know that the bipartisan corruption in Washington that has brought us to this brink and it will not be defeated easily. It will require unconventional thinking and a radical plan to restore our nation to the maximum freedoms we were supposed to have been protecting, using only the battlefield of ideas.
We’re all community organizers now!

Bosse for NH 00
Posted by: | CommentsLast week Grant Bosse announced his candidacy for New Hampshire’s phantom “00″ district. He’s fighting to keep the 2800 jobs they were given by the stimulus, only to be taken away. He told Brian Sullivan “just because we don’t exist doesn’t mean we shouldn’t count.”
