Quick Hits
By Lonely ConservativeThere’s no rest for the weary bloggers. In the last 24 hours I’ve posted about 16 times here at TLC. I worked eight hours at my day job. I slept about 6 1/2 or 7 hours. I made dinner for the kids. H/T to my husband for giving them breakfast while I got ready for work. Let’s see – what else. Oh yeah, I drove my five year old to a friend’s house after school. We all ate together and then I did the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen, helped my son with his homework, and made sure both boys brushed their teeth before tucking them in. It’s impossible to keep up! So here’s a quick run-down on what I’ve missed.
The wily George Soros is on the radar again, this time in support of the Mullahs in Iran. Remember which politicians he supports.
Oh, the irony. President Obama was in China talking about (cough-FoxNews) freedom of the press and Town Hall meetings (cough-staged events). But his town hall meeting in China wasn’t televised, and a CNN reporter was detained for having an Oba Mao t-shirt. On the bright side, the CNN reporter said she had offers for the shirt from White House staffers.
Doug Hoffman has ‘unconceded‘ in NY 23. He still has a big hill to climb but I wish him the best.
In case you haven’t heard, Sarah Palin appeared on Oprah. From what I saw it was a good interview. But I don’t hate her, so what do I know?
Long time TLC readers probably remember Alan. He’s back. Check out what he has to say about the Taliban and our president’s indecision.

Wow LC! Thanks for your hard work.
Welcome back, Alan!
You need a thigh strap (like a weapons holster) for that new Net book so you can blog and cook, drive, etc…Oh ya and I forgot to mention that there is only 38 shopping days left until Christmas!
