Bawney Keeps it Classy: Barney Frank Mocks Concerned Americans
By Lonely ConservativeBarney Frank likes insulting concerned American citizens. I suppose he thinks of us as cattle, or as Andrew wrote, commodities. We certainly aren’t supposed to raise our voices or express any objections over what he and his comrades are trying to do to us.
The latest insult was a two-fer, getting his digs in at a Republican colleague and American patriots in one snide little comment:
Frank, a Massachusetts liberal, told an audience: “Some of the people (at the rally) that wanted to engage me in conversation appeared to have been the losers in the ‘Are you smarter than Michele Bachmann contest?”‘
Rep. Bachmann, R-Minn., had organized Thursday’s rally attended by thousands of conservatives critical of the Democrats’ health care plan. Her spokeswoman did not respond to requests for comment. Frank, who recently compared arguing with an angry voter to conversing with a dining room table, said this week’s protest was like being trapped inside a furniture warehouse.
At least a dining room table serves a purpose. We can’t say that about Barney Frank.

But that is truly how this crop of Liberals sees anyone in the country who disagrees with them—they have repeatedly said it out loud. “Unsophisticated hicks”. I work with these folks on a daily basis and am constantly amazed at the size of the ego, at the level of elitism; from these folks who truly believe they are smarter than the rest of us, and we must be ignored as they determine how we should live our lives. Because we do not mirror them, we cannot possibly be intelligent.
At the same time, I watch them in real-world, unable to operate if things don’t go just the way they expected them to. They have no common sense, are unable to perform the simplest acts of daily living without delegating those things to someone else. They could not possibly operate a full day without me, the “unsophisticated hick”. While this incredible disrespect is infuriating—-it’s also amusing and instructive to watch. They are so afraid of Sarah Palin and all of her hicks…. speaks to a deep level of insecurity, dontcha think?? You betcha.
Now that swine has been found (again) in a house full of drugs, but he doesn’t know anything about it (again). Must be nice to be a Dem.m immune from any media questions or criticism. What a country!
I saw both events. In light of Ms. Bachmanns continued displays of ineptitude, and the lady’s comments at the town hall meeting, both of Mr. Franks comments were spot on.
The only thing Barney Frank has ever been spot on about was a porkchop.
