White House tried to have Fox News banned from press pool

By Lonely Conservative

In this instance the rest of the media did what’s right. I guess they saw their future if they don’t stand up to the Chicago bullies in the White House. Via Breitbart.

I saw this earlier on Brett Baier’s Special Report. I almost forgot about it. How I almost forgot about it I don’t know. As much as I’d like to say nothing the Chicago crew in DC does shocks me, this one certainly did.

“There was an announcement by the Administration that they were putting out the pay Czar Kenneth Feinberg as we showed you earlier, for the White House pool, they sent out a message for the White House pool that Feinberg would be doing a round robin interviews with the 5 network pool that covers the White House[...]Fox News has been a member since 1997, when they put out that message they specified that all members of the pool were welcome except Fox News.”

many americans have forgotten what the government is supposed to represent. our government is supposed to represent the people… in our persuit of happiness.. prospuring and influencing our prusuit of freedom of speech, and press. banning a news cast becuase they have strong views against obama is wrong. that just goes against freedom of press.. our country was founded on being able to speak freely and being able to question the goverment on their actions and if it is right… Obama needs to realize that their our people in the world who do not like the way he is running this country… goverment budding into our healthcare.. and now they want to budd in our newspapers… whats next!!! do people see a pattern? i see the deeper our country is fallin into a recession gives the goverment the oppurtunity to start bailing out alot of organizations…. is this forshadowing a future of a social goverment domino affect that thousands of soldiers died in the cold war. is history repeating itself right under our noses in our own country….. i am young just graduated highschool, this might not be a formal comment with perfect english but i spent alot of time really studying in history and our constitution,… and i see Obama taking baby steps in the prusuit of turning america into some short of a communist country.. first this health care plan and now telling one of the few news cast who question his motives that they are banned…

  3. Kat-you did just fine! I agree with you completely. Now spread the word to your friends. You’ve obviously got a good head on your shoulders. It’s too bad the folks in Washington aren’t as astute as you are.

the fact is that as much as i like fox the information provided is scued more than the other station

  5. Fox News is obviously much more republican in its views. CNN is obviously much more democratic in their views. If the president was going for a more balanced or fair approach to things, he should have chastised ALL media outlets as they have long since forgotten how to report on facts and actual news stories and instead cover spin and help create the spin. To get any real information, americans have to do a lot of digging on our own, reading transcripts, studying policy etc… simply because the media no longer does that. Obama (and I like him) was wrong for calling out Fox…. if he felt that strongly, he should have called out ALL media outlets and let them know they could go back to reporting the news… as it is.
