AstroTurf v. Grassroots
By Lonely ConservativeI’m sick of blogging about Obama - and all the other statists, for that matter. My regular readers know how I feel about their dangerous policies. It’s getting so old.
I thought maybe I’d write about the left’s newest derangement syndrome: Beck Derangement Syndrome. Unfortunately, the disease has spread across the aisle and many conservatives are going after Glenn Beck. Even one of my favorite talk show hosts weighed in, and although I agree with much of what he said, I think it’s counter productive to go after those who are on your side 90% of the time. RS McCain asks “Can’t all conservatives agree that at least Glenn Beck is not the enemy?” Check it out, we have enough to fight without going after Glenn Beck. The Other McCain covered it so well I can’t really add to it. With the exception of so called conservatives who endorsed Barack Obama, and primaries, I try to shy away from dissing our side.
So what’s a gal with bloggers block to do? Not to worry, Dan Maloney from New York Gathering of Eagles sent me an email at just the right time with links to some fantastic videos. Here are the best two – the work of one Sophia Elena. Compare the 9/13 Demand for Free Health Care Rally to the 9/12 Patriot Rally for Freedom.
What more proof does a politician need to know which group to fear next November?
Note: The first video is just funny, and pathetic. The second video is awesome! It gives me hope! Great job, Ms. Elena. Anyone up for another DC rally? Maybe when my son’s fall little league is over?

I’ve seen this before.
The left will refuse to acknowledge the extent of the anger and concern.
Since it’s mostly “average” Americans to include a good portion of “fly over country” and NOT the people at their Washington DC cocktail parties it must not be serious.
This is why they conclude Bush MUST have stolen the election TWICE. **Never will they admit thay they had field two clowns and many people didn’t vote FOR Bush but rather AGAINST the two idiots they deemed worthy to be President.**
They won’t know what hit them next election.
Arrogant, Selfish B*astards.
PS: This, in no way or form, gives a pass to the RINOs in office. Look over your shoulders, we’re coming for you too.
Sam hit the nail on the head.
One of the big reasons BO got elected was that a large number of older conservatives (including veterans) could not bring themselves to vote for RINO McCain. The only thing that saved his campaign from a total swamping was his choice of Sarah Palin.
The grassroots conservative movement is invisible to the elite (and I mean both parties) because it is not reported in/on the NY Times, Wash Po, CNN, or the whole alphabet soup of broadcasters. If they don’t see it then it’s not real to them.
The 9/12 march is a classic case in point. Minimal coverage, denigrate the numbers, denigrate the marchers as racists and the meme becomes a small group of racist extremists had a demonstration in Washington. Nothing newsworthy.
That is why it is so important to get this out on every media outlet we have available to us. The more Americans that can see how blatantly the media lie, the more converts we have.
So spread the word to everyone you know to look at the pictures and videos of 9/12 and see for themselves what they are being lied to about.

Demonizing the opponent is old-hat lib. strategy, because can’t win the arguments on its merits. Now the Obama gang is warning Humana to stop them from telling the TRUTH about the health-care takeover plans of the Dems. As for rinos, if Crist gets the nomination to run for Senate here in Fla., we are not voting. He’ll have to win with independents and dems.
