White House stirs the pot – pits neighbor against neighbor
ByNever in my life have I witnessed a president and his administration call on Americans to snitch on fellow Americans. And what exactly will the White House do with the information it collects from the snitches? We’ll never know. Byron York pointed out the fact that the White House is not subject to the Freedom of Information Act, so the records will be secret. Isn’t that special?
Robert Gibbs, mouthpiece for President Obama, called Americans who are giving their representatives an earful at town hall meetings Astro Turf with manufactured outrage. These people think we are all so stupid that we have no understanding of civics. Heck, they must think we don’t even know how to read. No wonder they believe we need them. They can’t fathom the fact that we neither need their “help” nor want it.
So what does President Obama do about this faux outrage he sees cropping up all across the republic? He calls in the thugs, that’s what! Obama’s Organizing for America and the DNC are calling on supporters and union goons to show up at town hall meetings to counter the Astro Turf. Gateway Pundit warns that we should bring our video cameras to document the actions of these people. I wouldn’t put it past them to pose as angry conservatives to make us look bad. At least some of them, anyway. The rest of the “grass roots” will be carrying signs bearing the Obama logo and web address along with a note that the signs were paid for by the DNC.
Just whose outrage is fake, here? And if they’re trying to quell the outrage on our side they sure have a funny way of doing so. Pitting neighbor against neighbor is hardly the “post partisan” bill of goods Obama sold to the American people.
What an absolute disgrace.

janet napolitano did not misspeak or lie when she called us terrorists. As we discover everyday that is exactly how this admin views us, we the people.
Send Obummer and Company a nasty e-mail on the Flag@whitehouse.gov e-mail telling them this wasn’t 1984 and they were a bunch of facists…I figured, what the Hell? I’m already on their watch list.
Can’t wait to meet everybody at the internment camp.

Asking citizens to inform on other citizens who express strong disagreement? SOMEONE paid attention to history in the Obama White House–someone revisted all the abhorrant things that actually worked in Hitler’s Germany. They’ve been using these uncomfortably similar tactics since early in Obama’s campaign. And if you actually say that, you are branded a nut. Well, I know my history and I know what I’m seeing. America no more.
As soon as I am home and on my own computer, more emails to the White House to ensure that I am in that honorable group screaming against these vile people.
