Harry Alford calls out Barbara Boxer for racial condescension.

By Lonely Conservative

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) seems to believe that Harry Alford, President and CEO of the Black Chamber of Commerce, should think and act in lock step with other black organizations, like the NAACP. Alford will have none of it and calls Boxer out during a Senate energy hearing for her racial attitude. Good for him!

Alford labeled as an “Uncle Tom” in 5…4…3….

  2. Politically Incorrect Citizen and Damn Proud says:

Mr. Alford’s indignant attitude is disingenuous and ridiculous. Here is the head of an organization that in essence is a racially-defined organization (BLACK chamber of commerce; not right-handed chamber of commerce; not Virgo or Leo chamber of commerce; not single-parent chamber of commerce or anything else; but the BLACK chamber of commerce) clamoring for race/color-free dialogue? Now that BHO is in the White House, disrespect and hypocracy are OK as long as you’re a minority. This country is going to hell in a hand basket and the breaks are out. Where did rationality go? Where did decency go? Mr. Alford’s repugnant behavior should be censured, but of course it won’t. Why? Because BHO is in the White House and it’s alllllll good, right??? Sad, sad, sad. Shame on you, Mr. Alford.

  3. Angry Constitutionalist says:

Barbara Boxer is a filthy disgrace and should be impeached and unemployed. She is an example of why the whole political system is broken and yet american citizens are gullible as to not vote for either third parties and candidates who will SOLEMNLY swear to uphold the constitution.

Most congressman, senators should be jailed for life and the fact that most americans never seem to pay attention to what is going on is absolutely disgraceful.

  4. johnny says:

I knew sooner or later someone would bring up that Alford was from the Black Chamber of Commerce to nullify Boxer’s flawed logic.

Oh, yes it is flawed. Just because he’s from the Black Chamber of Commerce only black facts can sway him and no other influences?

  5. sam adams says:

It only took an hour and twenty minutes.

Not using the actual words “Uncle Tom” doesn’t change the personal attack.

Looked to me like Babs shifted gears really quick when challenged as to exactly what the purpose of the statement by the NAACP was.

In the end it was one sided as Babs is a snooty biach and as chair running the show.

  6. Had Enough says:

This PIG should be charged with treason. Hopefully she will stand before a jury of Americans and be judged for every treasonous vote she has cast.Boxer, PIGlosi and Waxman (the rat faced man)should be held to answer for every treasonus vote they have cast. Then treated just like the Nazi’s they are.

  8. chris says:

bless you Mr.Alford for exposing that phony toxic bitch!

  9. Fran Gar says:

I am glad that Harry Alford stood up to Barbara Boxer. She needs to go. She is self absorbed and self serving. She cares not about the welfare of the American public. She is a big part of the problem in Washington and needs to be replaced before we get any real change for the good of our future. I am happy that Mr. Alford did not let her use him as her political pawn. Good for you Harry. Good for you.

  10. Had Enough says:

Finally someone bit this Pitt bull, For years she has brow beat people who have been unfortunate enough to have to testify before that gnome. She wasn’t nearly as tough on the brother as she was on the military man. She knew the bro would step off in that nasty ass. What a piece of garbage.

  11. Marcia Baracaldo says:

I am happy for what Mr. Alford said and I am very proud of him.

Patriot and honesty is what this COUNTRY NEEDS.

  12. BILL JYNELLA says:

I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH HARRY ALFORD. WHAT A TRUE AMERICAN! I WATCHED HIS INTERVIEW WITH BILL O’REILEY AND WAS IMPRESSED WHEN HE SAID THAT BOXER LIKES BROKE BLACK PEOPLE! I THINK THIS GUY SHOULD RUN FOR OFFICE. NOW THIS IS A TRUE AFRICAN AMERICAN LEADER THAT WE SHOULD ALL BE PROUD OF. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE HIM AND SHARPTON IN A CONVERSATION.

  13. S. Hirst says:

Thank you Mr. Alford for putting that woman in her place. She thought she could talk down to you in her condescending tone and you were going to take it. Great stance you took and I wanted to jump through the TV when she was talking to you. Thank you again. She disrespected the General when he called her M’am and she told him to call her Senator as she had worked so hard for that title. I truly thought she was talking down to you and you took her off guard when you told her her remarks were racist and then she says her husband is a veteran also. WHO CARES!!! It frosts me that she thought you should be so excited that the NAACP was supporting it! Unreal, who elects these idiots! She has no business being there whatsoever. Congratulations! Mr. Alford.

  14. Quissy says:

Barbara Boxer shows, everytime she speaks, how truly ignorant and condecending she is. Here is a bright, intelligent man, who comes before her trying to make a point and she insults him every step of the way. Get out of politics “Barb” and go home and become a stepford wife. (an old one)

  15. LIN GUBBA says:

    Mr. Alford –

Thank you for standing up to Boxer. She thinks that she is entitled to to be addressed as “Senator” but fails to address others as they are in so entitled. You have so spoken on my behalf – I support you all the way.

  16. Deanna Gossen says:

I was so proud of Mr. Alford. I was yelling at the TV. We need more men and women to speak up and not be afraid to speak truth to these condescending citizens who end up in Washington for life. I have had enough of Ms Boxer and several others like her.

  17. RosanaDana says:

Thank you, Mr Alford, for standing up for the American people against the ‘Washington Mob.’ You represented all of us, white, black, yellow and brown. Mrs Boxer is self-absorbed, arrogant, condescending, disrespectful and ignorant and needs to go. She is a distraction and is no longer productive doing the peoples’ work. Remember, Mr Alford, you are in good company with the General of another hearing. Please consider a run for public office in 2010 – we need your voice in the nation’s capitol.

  18. Shawnstein says:

I agree with Bill Jynella above…Boxer does like to see ‘broke black people’ so she can act like she is the voice standing up for them. If the welfare state of dem politics of the 70s wasn’t enough…Boxer is trying to maintain her position as voice for black people so she can be reelected cause she must know what’s best for black people…really?….Boxer is a disgrace to America.

  19. Clarence Hudson says:

I love the fact that someone finally called out the fact that liberals are racist, they play this game of plantation with there poor black children who would be nothing with out their help.

One thing for sure you have not heard a peep from the main stream media!

  20. Mr. Alford,

I loved the Boxer confrontation. She and Pelosi think the rest of the world outside of California are country bumpkins who are stupid. I am a white engineering graduate from The U. of Alabama and I loved the way you handled the situation. Also i manage a coal mining company and had an interest in the initial subject you were trying to discuss with her. Keep up the good work, this is scary times.
