Obama makes it very clear: He sides with Chavez and Castro
ByAll presidents are wrong about some things, some are wrong about many things, and then there’s Obama, who is wrong about nearly everything. Yesterday he announced:
We believe that the coup was not legal and that President Zelaya remains the president of Honduras, the democratically elected president there.
Hitler was democratically elected. Wouldn’t it have been nice if there was a “coup” to remove him from power before he caused the deaths of millions of innocents? But I digress.
The president didn’t stop there.
It would be a terrible precedent if we start moving backwards into the era in which we are seeing military coups as a means of political transition, rather than democratic elections.
It would certainly be a terrible precedent for someone like Obama, who may already be worried about the mid-term elections. When even the adoring press laughs out loud at his press secretary he has to know the tide could turn against him at any moment. While it’s unlikely anything like Honduras will happen here, he must know that most of his actions are unconstitutional.
One more thing, it wasn’t a coup.

of course it was illegal.. im sure King George over in great britan said the same thing about those revolutionaries in the colonies back in the “dark ages” Obama fears.
He’d like it if we (”Democrats AND Republicans”, as he puts it) if we stuck with a PURE democracy, so 50% of voters plus one person could create any kind of progressive State they wanted and impose it on all. He has to support Zelaya. He wants to do what Zelaya was trying to do when he was arrested: get the constitution changed so he can be….GOD.

When Von Stauffenburg plotted to kill Hitler, that was illegal, but we didn’t hear the Liberals whining about that and siding with Hitler against that attempted coup.
