Vote these Republicans out!!!!!!

By Lonely Conservative

My husband and I went to a party tonight. We had a great time. I would have had a better time if I didn’t check twitter and find out Cap and Tax made it through the House, with the help of eight RINO’s. Almost more distressing for me was that when I quietly spoke to the few people I know are on ”our side”, none of them had any clue what this bill was or that it was up for a vote today. Doing the limbo was fun, but thinking “how low can you go” had a much different meaning for me than it did my fellow partiers.

This is how low the Republican party went today. Despite the valiant effort by John Boehner, eight turncoat Republicans voted to pass the largest tax increase in history, while at the same time destroying our republican form of government. What a heartbreak.

The turncoats must be purged! Voted out! If the democrats are going to destroy our great country we may as well make them own it. There is no excuse. There can be no forgiveness. These eight must go!

Michelle Malkin posted the names and phone numbers of the eight turncoats.

Bono Mack (CA) (202) 225-5330
Castle (DE) (202) 225-4165
Kirk (IL) (202) 225-4385 (And he’s seriously considering running for Senate!)
Lance (NJ) (202) 225-5361
LoBiondo (NJ) (202) 225-6572
McHugh (NY) (202) 225-4611
Reichert (WA) (202) 225-7761
Smith (NJ) (202) 225-3765

Congrats, congresspeople, you helped the Democrats pass a junk science-based, massive national energy tax. Headed to Disney World now?

She also posted the names of the 44 democrats who voted against this monstrous bill. My congressman, Dan Maffei, is not on the list, despite the story he gave to the Post Standard about his reservations in voting for the bill. I knew it was a line of BS when I read it. Wake up Central New York! Dan Maffei again proved he’s nothing more than a puppet for Pelosi and Obama. Is that what you voted for?

And a little note to my fellow Americans: You may want to take just a few minutes a day to find out what your “elected representatives” are up to. If you don’t take the damn time to be informed, when you’ve lost all your freedoms you’ll have nobody to blame but yourselves!

Update: Below are clips of John Boehner and Michele Bachmann doing their best to stop this travesty.

Update: Videos fixed. Sorry about that. It was late and I was tired when I posted this.

McHugh represents some of the coldest, snowiest areas in the lower 48. This is almost entirely a rural area. How he can contribute to raising energy costs on his voters is the question? This will continue to make upstate NY a black hole for investment and as a place to live. What planet do these pols live on?

  5. To bad the people in McHugh’s district won’t have the pleasure of voting him out. Sell out.

If any of these traitors receive one cent from the RNC for re-election, there should be a revolution in the GOP. These swine could be replaced with REAL Dems without losing a thing. they are a disgrace.

Here in the NW suburbs of Chicago, we now have our eyes on Rep. Mark (turncoat) Kirk, who is aspiring to run for the Senate in 2010. Whether he made a deal with Barry’s frontmen/women or is a global warming sympathizer has yet to be determined. I am becoming an overnight activist determined to rout this Pelosi Republican out of office. Like you said, if this administration succeeds at tearing this country apart, at least we can let it all belong to the Democrats.

My Republican Congressman Says Cap and Trade is Good for America.

And, he caught the Green River Killer.

Did you catch the Green River Killer?

    No, no you didn’t.

You can hear his interview here.

    http://www.mynorthwest.com/?nid=194&sid=184941

Dave Reichert SPEAKS: says Cap and Trade will be good for America

He argued that the expense would not be what the Heartland Institute, Heritage Foundation, and Wall Street Journal were predicting. He argued that it would cost around $.48 per day and that we would have better national security, more nuclear, coal and refining capabilities, and a cleaner environment with the bill. He argued that the conservative arguments against were mistaken, and that Washington specifically would be better off even though the bill was imperfect.

And, he caught the Green River Killer.

Yeah, it took him a couple of decades, but better late than never.

I hear Fox was thinking about making the Series 24 about Reichert. But instead of showing 24 hours in a day they would have to make each episode a year.

  15. Tom says:

Hi. I am unfortunately also “represented” by Dan Maffei. I am really interested in getting involved and helping adding him to the list of unemployed in 2010. What can I do?

    • He has a town hall meeting tomorrow night:

6:00 PM Congressman Maffei will host a Health Care Reform Town Hall
      Lincoln Middle School
      1613 James Street
      Syracuse
      OPEN PRESS

I’m going to try to make it there, but if my husband works late I won’t have anyone to watch the kids. At least you can let him know what you think of what he’s doing by going along with Pelosi and Obama. You can also spread the word to your neighbors and friends.

  16. Tom says:

I have no faith in Dan Maffei. I’ve written letters, e-mails to him about Cap and Trade and got a nice long e-mail back about how he’s so concerned about how it will affect CNY and then he goes and votes for it anyway. I honestly don’t know if it’s even worth my time telling what I think of him. He does not care. The only way to get a point across to this man is to have a mass rally in front of his office or something like that reminding him who he works for. He’s useless and worthless. He needs to be replaced and that is what I would like to concentrate my time on is helping get someone elected to replace this loser.

    • You’re right. He’s got to go. But making some noise might at least might raise awareness if there’s any local press coverage. (Which is doubtful.) I’d like to know if he’s ever read the Constitution, the way he walks all over it.

He’s let it be known that he’s all for Keynesian economics, even though the economic theories of Keynes have been proven to be wrong. That won’t stop him. The only way to stop him is to vote him out.

  17. ModerateManny says:

So 8 Republicans stood up for their beliefs and did the right thing. I don’t get your anger. Do you really want a monolithic party where everyone votes alike? These 8 are the future of the party, otherwise it might go the way of the Bull Moose Party.
