Global Warming boondoggle passes first hurdle in the House
ByEven though global warming science is far from settled, the Nancy Pelosi and the democrats cleared the way to send the Cap and Tax bill for a floor vote.
WASHINGTON (AP) – House Democrats narrowly won a key test vote Friday on sweeping legislation to combat global warming and usher in a new era of cleaner energy. Republicans said the bill included “the largest tax increase in American history.”
The vote was 217-205 to advance the White House-backed legislation to the floor, and 30 Democrats defected, a reflection of the controversy the bill sparked.
Talk about a man-made disaster. The bill is so bad and such a goodie bag for democrat constituents that even Greenpeace opposes it.
This is another bill that nobody has read and the democrats are cutting off debate in order to ram it through. What a boondoggle.
