Democrats Should Call the Stimulus Bill What it Really is – CRAP
ByThe “economic recovery” bill crafted by the Democrats should be called the CRAP Act – Crony Reimbursement And Payback Act. What a disgrace.
The economy is already starting to show small signs of improvement. Anyone who can read can figure out that the economy is cyclical. After a recession comes recovery. It isn’t rocket science. Just this morning came the news that retail sales unexpectedly rose 1% in January. (Although that may be due to people like myself stocking up on necessities in preparation for the economic havoc CRAP is sure to cause.)
No wonder President Obama and the Democrsats feel the need to get this CRAP Act passed as quickly as possible. The bad economy just provides the cover they need to fund their supporters and pay for their pet projects.
[$1.1 billion for comparative effectiveness research] refers to the health-care mandates for approval on treatment by all American physicians. Arlen Specter and Jon Tester insisted that these provisions would be removed from Porkulus before voting for final passage. The money is still there to build the database necessary to impose federal control on all medical treatment in the US, using Tom Daschle’s top-down mechanism, complete with “penalties” for doctors who insist on providing life-saving treatments without Uncle Sam’s say-so.
I notice that $7 billion in DoD construction got cut. The conference managed to keep twice as much money to interfere in the housing market, which is what caused the economic meltdown in the first place, but took a pass on using money that would create jobs instead of more debt.
Not only are they lying about the stimulative effects of this bill, they’re so incredibly brazen, chiding Republicans for not going along with them! Do they even see the irony in asking Republicans to vote for spending that will help to keep the Republican Party in the minority for the foreseeable future?
I sure hope Senators Collins, Snowe and Specter are happy with themselves for going along with this. It looks like mine may be the last generation of Americans that can ever hope for a brighter future than their parents enjoyed.

I guess #1 is trying to pass #2, it’s a full diaper!!
Just how intelligent is it to pass a bill you have not even read? Other countries will look at us as the fools we are. good luck having other countries buy this debt. Passing this bill is probably the worst possible thing they could do at this time.
It’s all gross, isn’t it?
