The left’s hypocrisy knows no bounds
By Lonely ConservativeTreating a Republican president with scorn and derision is the left’s definition of patriotism. For the past eight years we’ve heard that dissent is patriotic. Now that we have a Democrat in the Oval Office the time to be divisive is over.
Not only is it now considered unpatriotic to criticize President Obama, apparently, any legitimate criticism of the Messiah is considered racism. After Michelle Malkin failed to drool over the inauguration of President Obama, not only was she labeled a racist, but a far right whore by HuffPo.
Most of us on the right would never dream of treating our new president with the extreme derision and scorn President Bush endured for eight years. But even that’s not good enough. As far as the left’s concerned any criticism or partisanship is now taboo, yet it’s perfectly okay for them to continue ranting about President Bush.
Things never change for the leftists in America. “It’s okay for me but not for thee.”
