Brit Hume is leaving ‘Special Report with Brit Hume’ - Updated
I just saw Brit Hume on The O’Reilly Factor and he said he’s leaving Special Report. He will be around, he said, to do commentary and possibily fill in on Special Report occasionally.
He plans to concentrate on three G’s: God, Granddaughters and Golf. His last day on Special Report will be Tuesday, December 23.
I wish him the best.
Update: Brett Baier will replace Britt Hume on Special Report.
Best of luck to Brett and hopefully we’ll continue to have the pleasure of Britt Hume’s presence on Fox News.

I saw this too. I think he said he would be studying the Bible. I will really miss this man.
I’ve always like Brit Hume…sorry to see him go.
So am I, he’s a class act. They said he’ll be chief political analyst (or something like that) so he should still be around.
Brit Hume is the best news man on the air, in my opinion.
Brett Baier is a decent sort, but he’s nowhere near Britt.
Honestly, I don’t know of anyone at Fox who could fill his shoes. Chris Wallace comes closest, but he has his own gig.
