Anxiety
By Lonely ConservativeBarack Obama’s new Change.gov website generated some controversy, so it’s been scrubbed. His spokesman said they are “re-tooling the site”. I guess they want us to be surprised when he takes office.
It appears Obama plans to move ahead with his promise to close Guantanamo, but it’s unclear what he plans to do with the detainees after Gitmo is closed. Looks like they’ll either be released or sent here to the States. Just what we need.
An Obama cheerleader from the Financial Times is exhibiting buyer’s remorse over his endorsement of Mr. Obama. Upon further examination of Obama’s economic policies he’s having second thoughts. Perhaps next time he can keep his opinions to himself in the first place.
The Obamabots continue their creepy adoration of their Messiah. They’re calling for a national holiday in honor of Barack Obama. They may want to wait until he’s actually accomplished something, but hey, what do I know?
A spokesperson for Barack Obama said yesterday that he will be ready to take power and RULE on day one. A question for those of you who voted for Barack Obama – were you voting for a leader or a ruler? You may want to take a peek at the Constitution.
It appears that right wing bloggers aren’t the only ones who scrutinized the marxist tendencies from Obama’s past. Mikhail Gorbachav has called for Obama to carry out “perestroika”, or re-structuring of the US political, social and economic systems.
Joining the global chorus for change, UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown is calling for a new world order.
Obama’s team indicated there would be bold changes shortly after he takes office. What, exactly, those changes will be remains to be seen. Nothing I’ve heard as yet has done anything to allay my anxiety.

One of the first things he will do is to reverse a slew of George W Executive Orders relating to things like stem cell research. And if he does close Guantanamo, the detainees will be transferred to US Prisons and put on trial … imagine that, actually following due process.
Last time I looked, due process is guaranteed for American citizens not enemies/combatants of the state. Correct me if I’m wrong LC.
Sheldon, I do believe you are correct. Perhaps our military will have to change their policy and shoot to kill. In combat, we cannot expect them to be CSI investigators, now can we?
But we all know that the hard left is and always has been more concerned with the welfare of our enemies than they are of American citizens.
