Justice Scalia on 60 Minutes

I just watched 60 Minutes on CBS and Leslie Stahl interviewed Justice Antonin Scalia. I’ve always respected him and when I’ve read opinions he’s authored I’ve been very impressed. I never knew how down to earth he is and I was quite surprised that CBS gave him such fair treatment. I didn’t see the entire interview, but saw a good deal of it.
They did mention why some don’t like him, but let him have his say and of course he said it well. Even Ruth Bader Ginsberg had nice things to say about him, although they disagree philosophically. I thought I would mention this because I do tend to pick on the media, so when they get something right I feel I should also comment.

Didn’t watch it, figured it would be a hit piece…..if the got it right it would be the first time in years. And I have not watched it in “years”….

It came on right after the football game and it was still on after we put the kids to sleep so we got drawn in. I was pleasantly surprised.
